Berdasarkan situs resmi Mozilla sebagai organisasi yang mengembangkan Web Browser Firefox bahwa, firefox 3.6.8 diluncurkan karena pada vers 3.6.7 masih terdapat beberapa kekurangan dan bug yang seharusnya sebagai pelengkap dan perbaikan dari vers 3.6.4.

Namoroka will employ a highly iterative, milestone based development process which will rely on feedback from developers, testers and users to ensure that we are properly investing time and resources. This will be followed by an alpha development phase for early user testing and feedback, and then a beta phase for broader compatibility testing.
